SUMMARY

 This review explores the role of carnitine in male infertility. The structure of this review is organized into short paragraphs that address the following aspects: antiapoptotic effect of L-carnitine on germ cells, effects of L-carnitine on conventional sperm parame- ters, in vitro effects of L-carnitine on sperm function, and the role of L-carnitine on erectile function.
